My name is Leif Helland, I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am currently enrolled at the University of South Florida in Journalism. I read and write as much as I can to perfect my craft in the art of story telling. Ever since I could remember I have always been a history buff and an avid reader of anything politics related. I believe my inquisitiveness for the world around me as well as my patience in hearing people's stories makes me an excellent candidate for this profession.

I am consistently working to improve my writing skills and interview skills ensuring sharpness in technique. I take the time to edit every piece of work down to the smallest detail as well as improve my writing through constructive criticism by others around me. When I'm not grinding away at my work, I am either watching a hockey game or enjoying my time with the people I care most about.
